They've managed to contact my landlady, but not my boyfriend's. We have the same landlady. But it doesn't matter that they've got a reference for me because my name isn't going on our new tenancy agreement.
The only reason I can see for this is that I'm a woman and my boyfriend earns more than me.

Furthermore they've decided to tell us that if we don't get our (extremely difficult) landlandy to contact the company soon we might incur a £50 charge and a delay in moving. They've chosen to tell us this 6 days before we're due to move and only because I contacted them as I was getting worried about the lack of information coming from them.
