Are you proud of your country's history?

oojimaflop [Edit] [Delete] 10:52, 18 February '13

I've been reading a really short overview of English History, as there are major gaps in my knowledge.

I'm up to the Norman age, which was incredibly brutal and bloody. Despite this, there is no doubt that this age went some way to shaping who the "English", as a people, are now.

There aren't many countries that don't have a brutal history. Ar you proud of yours? and are you proud* of your country at this present time in History?

*I acknowledge that proud is probably a too-daily mail word to use.
