We've all been brought up to believe that things in life have closure - but in reality they don't

So in films, books, songs, the universe always balances out. So a relationship ends and they coincidently meet a year or two later and one person gets to laud their new life other the mean-ex or someone dies and their ghost comes back to tell them everything is ok, or a bully gets his comeuppance or someone wrongly accused of something gets exonerated.

Literally, most forms of art, this happens. But in real life, this almost never happens. Relationships depressingly fizzle out - no-one is visited by ghosts to straighten out the past, bullies still bully and injustice continues around the world.

So basically, films, books, tv and songs all lead us to have expectation that life balances itself, but in reality, shit happens, it's shit and people gotta live with it.
