The etiquette of seeing people

poptimusgrime [Edit] [Delete] 11:49, 29 January '13

When you begin, for want of a better phrase, ‘seeing’ someone – that is, you’ve been on a few dates and text them regularly and think about them quite often – but aren’t nearly anywhere near serious enough to consider being their confirmed boyfriend or girlfriend, and yet have no aspirations to ‘see’ anyone else, two problems generally occur, and I think we can all agree we need to solve these for the good of humanity:

1) It’s fucking awkward to address (what if they want to see other people, for the time being? Or what if they think you’re being far too presumptuous talking about this early stage too early?)

2) What do you change your social networking relationship status to?

NB: I’m not seeing anyone.
