My night out was awful. Shit bands, awful crowd, venue ridiculously hot causing us having to leave early. Crazy queues and surly barstaff at a usually pleasant venue. When we stepped outside there were fights everywhere, men yelling at girlfriends, a general atmosphere of awfulness and unhappiness.

I've since mentioned this to some of my friends, here in Brighton and elsewhere around the UK. Everyone who went out agrees it was a horrible night. What the hell? What is going on here? Was it a full moon or something?

Oddly enough I vaguely remember about two or three nights of this nature in my lifetime. Some astrological clusterfuck maybe?
