Asking for a friend here as I'm pretty happy with my rig.

He has his heart set on a Fender Hot Rod Deville. He's played the Deluxe plenty of times and likes the sound of that but has been offered the choice of the larger 2x12 Deville or the 4x10 Deville.

Has anyone played either the 2x12 or the 4x10? Advantages of one over the other?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
