broadband speeds & usage limits...

forzaborza [Edit] [Delete] 22:46, 19 January '13

- What's the minimum speed you'd need to be able to stream films/programs properly and download albums and stuff reasonably quickly (as in minutes rather than hours)? Would 16mb or even 8mb be fine, or would you need something higher?

- Do you need to bother about usage limits? It's not something i've ever paid any attention to, but if i was, say, working or 'surfing' online for, idk, up to 6-10 hours a day, and downloading a couple of films and albums every day, would 20gbp/m do the job?

- Does anyone have any experience of PlusNet or o2 internet? Tempted to go with the former as they seem like a decent company, are cheap and early searches say they have quite good customer service, but o2 have most of the very cheapest and shortest contract packages.

Cheerz.
