Like, when you don't have a phone attached to your palm or aren't depressed enough to constantly look at the floor.

People seem to think it's okay to look at me when I walk past them. I'm not sure whether I like it.

I can feel them looking at me, so instead of looking ahead I glance a bit over in their direction and clock that they are just following me with their eyes. Then it becomes awkward because some times my glance will fall upon their eyes, and there we have it. Full blown eye contact with a stranger. And you both look away a bit embarrassed.

It happened way more than often in mainland Europe. Maybe I just look like a famous person.
