Someone explain to me how the fuck I'm 25?

I'm the same age now as Liam Gallagher was in 1997, he's 40 now and 1997 doesn't seem that long ago. What the fuck's going on? I need to change the past and stop time advancing altogether.

Oh my god 25 and I've done fuck all never even had a girlfriend :(
