Christmas treats

whiterussian [Edit] [Delete] 17:21, 20 December '12

I just bought some Christmas marzipan and it struck me that maybe that isn't a THING in the UK like it is here (Norway). And there's probably lots of other things, I've forgotten about a lot of it since I lived over there but for example, obviously mince pies are a very British thing, we don't get those here at all. Ginger biscuits is like the most Christmassy thing of all here (description of the Scandinavian variety here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ginger_nut).

Tell me about the most standard Christmas treats that you have where you live/in your family and I'll try to come up with some more that you probably don't have.
