."Virgin Trains thanks our customers for not smoking on this service." Why? Will you thank me for not wiping shit on my ticket before presenting it for inspection?

."Please push" - saw this one on a door today. Why does the person who made the sign give a fuck if I go through the door or not? Just tell me to push ffs.
