Have you mended anything recently?

What’s that? you fixed a thread? Great, now fuck off, no one cares.

Yesterday, I realised part of the clip on my pedometer had snapped. I’m pretty sure this happened at the weekend, and interestingly, I think it caused the pedometer to not pick up steps properly. I noticed this week, the 7.6 miles I walk each day was registering fewer steps than normal. Given that the average stride is about 0.8m, you’d expect that 7.6miles, or 12.231km would register 15,289 steps as I was reaching until the weekend. whereas I was down to about 11,004 on Tuesday. Quite farcical! Thankfully I carry superglue in my bag because I consider myself to be functional. Unfortunately the plastic that my pedometer is made from is one of those plastics that reacts badly with superglue and instead of setting and sticking the clip back together, it merely smudged and went a bit dodgy like. In short, I didn’t really fix my pedometer, but it’s ok, my girlfriend’s mother gave me one for Christmas last year, so I’m using that today and you’ll be pleased to know I’m in the money so far today, 12,656 steps.

Last night I began bleeding a radiator in our flat that I hadn’t bled in years, it’s full of gas but after numerous bleedings until the pressure fell, it’s still not fully completed, also, I don’t really classify bleeding a radiator as mending something, although thinking about it, perhaps it is? Idk.
