I am relatively new to DiS, although have lurked for many years, and was unsure over whether or not to post this... But what the hell!

I started a project at the start of the football season with the aim being to place a bet each week, but with the results selected using random number generators. The idea is to raise funds and awareness for the Bobby Moore Fund for Bowel Cancer Research following a year of battling against the disease myself. So far, I have raised a total of £59.06... Take that cancer, you cock!

As I say, it is not entirely about the funds I can raise but also raising awareness and encouraging people who otherwise would not have known about the charity to consider donating (breast cancer get's all the attention!)

I have mostly stuck to the music board in my short time on DiS but noticed a number of football/betting threads on Social so thought it was worth a JAG (as I believe they call it around these parts).
