Was watching last night's Colbert Report, and at one point Colbert talked about a recent survey undertaken in the U.S about platonic relationships.

Apparently they interviewed 88 pairs of platonic male/female friends about their relationship, and then interviewed each person individually.

It turned out that the majority of the men had stronger romantic feelings for their woman friends than they let on, and they believed their feelings were mutual. Conversely, the majority of the women didn't have any stronger romantic feelings for their men friends, and they also believed their feelings were mutual.

SO basically most guys fancy their female friends, but most girls don't fancy their male friends.
