Do you ever bump into the same person, in the same place, at different times?

Silkyskillz11 [Edit] [Delete] 10:17, 7 November '12

stupid question, you say? well fuck you and your negativity.

I generally go to Sainsburys once a week to get some bits and bobs to cook my granny a nice tea. This can be on different days, depending on her movements.

Anyway, pretty EVERY TIME I go to Sainsburys, I bump into one of my friends. strike rate is a whopping 86% at time of writing.

I never see him at any other time really and it's always near the vegetable section.

We are always both listening to music, so we take our ears off, make some comment about always seeing each other in Sainsburys, talk about football and movies for a bit, then get on with our business.

We usually see each other again, but we have some sort of unwritten rule that we won't enter into a second conversation, so we just do that nod of acknowledgement, then press on.

I'm pretty sure that this guy does his food shopping every night in Sainsburys, which seems like an incredible waste of money, but I don't know him well enough to tell him this.

Does this happen to anyone else?

This is another brilliant thread
