can you pinpoint the most formative year(s) of your life in terms of what made you the type person you are today?

for example i reckon going from 16-17 definitely had the biggest affect on me in terms of life "stuff" that happened -

started my first job (working in mcdonalds, halcyon days)
started boozing in pubs regularly
met two of my best mates i still kick around with
formed my first "proper" band
touched a girls boobs etc

so aye did your gerbil dying/having to do a paper round aged 13 make you the person you are today?*
