Laughs obviously but from what?

a) a succession of one liners and quick witted dialogue that wouldn't really take place in the real world eg Not Going Out, The Thick of It

b) cultural references eg Spaced

c) surreal scenes and images eg Mighty Boosh

d) Wacky situations in a workplace eg The American Office, the IT crowd

e) Natural dialogue in a mundane setting eg The Office

f) A series of mishaps and situations escalating out of control eg Curb Your Enthusiasm

There's loads more that I've forgotten and I've probably mislabelled some of the above but in short I'm asking what kind of sitcoms you like and why do they make you laugh?
