Safe-Standing Petition by the FSF (football-centric)

wrightylew [Edit] [Delete] 17:07, 31 October '12

Does anyone have a valid reason to disagree with the proposed idea of safe-standing at Championship and Premier League football grounds?

This isn't an idea to enforce old, rusty death-terraces on to every stand in every ground.

It's the idea to provide a choice. People who want to sit down can do, and those who want to stand can do that as well.

It looks like this: http://www.bristolcityst.org.uk/artman/uploads/red_rail_seats_405.jpg

So far, I've never met anyone in real life who opposes it. And the only people I know who do publicly, are the families of the Hillsborough victims. I respect their opposition, but strongly disagree with it.
