in the past when it was egyptians and things then you could use bits of a flower or a beetle or something to make a sort of paint. but they didn't put it IN paint. paint wasn't a thing until later. i was driving along today staring at yellow and white paint and wondering what they put in that white paint to make it yellow. did they cut down LOADS of flowers or something. it would have to be loads and loads if you think about all the yellow lines and bedrooms that get painted yellow
