Do you genuinely worry about using outmoded technology

wonton [Edit] [Delete] 16:57, 26 October '12

I don't even mean in the most extreme sense such as believing your iPhone 4S is now obsolete. I thought of this after reading this article: http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2012/oct/25/microsoft-launches-windows-8-defining-moment-ballmer specifically the use of the phrase "fading PC market". That is perhaps true in a retail sense, but you get the feeling there are people scoffing at PC users like they were luddite paupers. CDs have been doomed for ages now, but the market remains there for those who need it (myself included). Is there really anything to worry about?
