So there I was in Pret, food paid for, waiting on the side for my toasted pesto mozzarella sandwich. I see the woman sliding my freshly toasted sandwich into the bag, hand it to her colleague to bring it to me. In a random moment of confusion the colleague walks to the counter and slips the sandwich into an elderly gentleman's carry bag that had just been packed with his purchase, with his eagle-eyes watching and she makes the error. I call across to her (and him) over the busy lunchtime bussle, that that was my sandwich. No sooner as the colleague let go of the sandwich, he gathered up the bag handles and all the while looking me in the eyes, made a mad dash for the door, me trying to push through the lines of queuing patrons to stop him.

Now I am sorry, but what sort of suit wearing, father looking person STEALS A SANDWICH!

Would it have been unladylike of me to have rugby tackled him to the ground? I was tempted. But I'm wearing a tight fighting dress today.
