World Series thread

The Giants take a BIG win in game 1 over the Tigers, Sandoval hits 3 HRs (two off Verlander, who was pulled after four innings, to become only the fourth person to achieve that) and Zito puts in another great start by conceding only one run in 5 2/3 innings. I have the game recorded so will be watching it tonight, but I've caught some highlights. The Giants are coming in off two improbable comebacks in the postseason whereas the Tigers steamrolled a meek shadow of a Yankees team. Seems that the figthback has given SF the edge in the early going, but I don't want to get carried away just yet. Madison Bumgardner has struggled in the playoffs so far and as good as the bullpen is, the Giants can't afford to ship runs early, no matter how much their batting has picked up over the course of the year. Also, Posey needs to get his swing back.
Anyone watching this at all? All games are live on ESPN America.
