When billion £ corporations don't pay tax (coffee-centric)

msmonipenni [Edit] [Delete] 11:46, 17 October '12

What do we all think about the new Starbucks scandal of them not paying tax?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-19967397

Considering this was big news about TopShop not too long ago, and yet sales still seem to increase per annum for them. What does this mean for us, the hardworking tax payers?
What action could actually be taken up against them? Would the UK Government go around closing every store down? I'm confused about this whole thing.
