Strange atricle in The Sun about John Peel

KillingMoon [Edit] [Delete] 22:57, 7 October '12

This article was in The Sun today. It appears on a page about the whole Jimmy Savile scandal. Does anyone else find this article totally pointless and a bit odd?!

PEEL RAP ON TEEN KICKS

BBC icon John Peel - who got his kicks romping with schoolgirls - is being ridiculed for having "Teenage dreams so hard to beat" on his gravestone.

The line comes from The Undertones' 1978 hit Teenage Kicks. The DJ, below, married his first wife in the States when she was 15. He has boasted of having teenage groupies while working in the US.

One Twitter user said: "Finding out he had a 'thing'(Ugh) for schoolgirls puts a whole new spin on knowing his favourite song was 'Teenage Kicks'."
