wow...what a film. completely blown my mind. can't stop thinking about it.
what a performance from Sheen, huh? mesmeric. he was sooo cool. the way he flipped his jacket on at the start...kept having to rewind that bit. his best performance? other than Apocalypse Now, can't think of anything as strong. he killed me, man.
great cinematography, huh. completely restored my faith in Malick, after the abysmal and pathetic Tree of Life.
not as good as Thin Red Line, imho.
