Idk, i'm sure there are obvious exceptions, but generally i think British, even European sportsmen and women, and the people who support them, know how to win and lose with dignity. Americans are fucking dreadful at either, huh.

I mean, i like American people, generally. They get shitloads of stick, but when you meet them in real life, particularly those who travel, they're good eggs, but when it comes to sport they just come across as extraordinarily pompous and unsportsmanlike.

It's probably why they've never taken to cricket, really.
