Do you think there's a tendency to conflate 'open-mindedness' with a particular type of opinion?
That a person who is dismissive of other people's views can be considered open-minded simply because he or she is dismissive from the right side of the fence? They can say "Proposition A is 100%, absolutely true" and be considered open-minded, while a person who says "Proposition A is 100%, absolutely NOT true" cannot?
