I read the Harry Potters but have no great fondness for them, and the snippets I've heard about The Casual Vacancy don't get me excited at all. BUT I'm always curious and don't like to miss out on a big trend (Dan Brown, Steig Larrsen, Hunger Games - I skipped Fifty Shades of Grey), so I'll probably end up taking a look. Do you think she'll be able to write for adults? Do you reckon loads of kids with HP withdrawal will be buying this and end up horribly disappointed? I can't predict how it's going to go to be honest.
