What are the local 'delicacies' where you are from/where you live?

More Black Country than Birmingham, but I'm a big fan of Grey Peas and Bacon.

Fairly self-explanatory - grey peas and bacon lardons in a thick gravy type thing. Delicious.

One thing I will miss about Stoke now that I've finished uni up there is the Oatcake. Essentially a savoury pancake made with oats - load it with some bacon, sausage, cheese and a bit of brown sauce and you're away, just what you need after a heavy night on the pop.
