Has anyone been coasteering before?

LOLpop [Edit] [Delete] 22:57, 2 September '12

It was my bros stag do this weekend, in Newquay.

Initially I wasn't too enamoured when I found out that yesterdays activities would include an hours body boarding, and then a coasteering session around the local coastline. I couldn't have been more wrong though - the body boarding session was brilliant fun, and the coasteering even more so.

It's one of those things I suppose, where you look at it and think: What's so 'fun' about that? But it is really good fun jumping off the rocks into the sea. The last jump that we did was 40ft - which doesn't sound that much, but fuck me, when I was about to jump, my legs turned to jelly.

There were quite a few of us, so the bants was hilarious and the more people that had jumped that were already in the water, the more hilarious it became when the remaining people were waiting to jump. I always made sure that I was one of the first to jump, so that I didn't have to hide the fear on my face.

Has anyone done any coasteering?
