Yesterday I told him about the time the other day when I had a meal without chillies, because on Tuesday I made for dinner a roast dinner built up around a lamb rack because on the Monday before it in the morning I had thawed the freezer out and that made me take the lamb rack out of the freezer so that I needed to eat it. And I only had mint sauce but no chilli. He gossiped that it must have been a bland meal. He was wrong to do this, it was very tasty. I’ve not spoken to him about chillies since.
