A very important sausage related question

pieces_of_reece [Edit] [Delete] 15:51, 31 August '12

When I was children, we used to have a fry up for lunch on a Saturday. As part of said fry up we would have sausages. Such was my families shopping habits during the 1980s, when I was children, there would be 2 liquid condiments on the table. The first, tomato ketchup, the second, HP sauce. The former was my father’s choice, the latter my mother’s. a technique that my father used to use in order to optimise his ketchup coverage was to slice the sausage lengthways before squirting ketchup along the slice. My question to you is, do or indeed have you ever treated a sausage like this, and if so, what is or indeed was your reason for doing this? thanks in advance for answering this question, your input is much appreciated.
