I'm getting rid of a stack of old uni textbooks (mainly history/politics/international relations). They're free, if you want them.

Hi,

I'm getting rid of some old uni textbooks to make space in my flat. If you're interested in any of them, you can have them for free - you just need to cover postage, or you can meet me somewhere in central London.

I'm going to give them to a charity shop if no one wants them, but I thought some of you bedwetters might be interested. Maybe some of them are still set texts for current students, I don't know.

Don't PM me as I probably won't read it. Just post want you want in the thread below and i'll get in touch.

Politics:

* Oxford concise dictionary of politics (published in 1996).

* 'Political Theory: An Introduction' - Andrew Heywood, 2nd Edition.

* 'Political Ideologies: An Introduction' - Andrew Heywood, 2nd Edition.

* 'American Government' - Lowi & Ginsberg, 6th Edition. A good beginner's guide.

* 'The Globalization of World Politics: An introduction to International Relations' - John Baylis & Steve Smith, 2nd Edition.

* 'Essentials of International Relations' - Karen Mingst, 2nd Edition. A good beginner's guide.

* 'Has Marxism a future?' - John Hoffman. A pamphlet rather than a book. It was published in 1991 though, so we already know the answer to the question!

* 'Stupid White Men' - Michael Moore. LOL!

History:

* 'An Economic and Social History of Western Europe since 1945' - Anthony Sutcliffe.

* 'The Ascendancy of Europe 1815 - 1914' - M S Anderson.

* 'Colonial America: A History, 1585 - 1776' - Richard Middleton, 2nd Edition

* 'Barricades and Borders: Europe 1800 - 1914' - Robert Gildea, 2nd Edition.
