i've known mine for around 13 years and we've been best friends for pretty much that entire period

he's the only person i can happily sit in silence without feeling awkward with and consistently talk absolute shite/fall around close to tears at absolutely nothing with

we used to be in a band together and have seen each other pretty much at least once a week for that whole time too

our lives have gone in slightly different directions of late - he's now married with kids etc but it's kinda added to rather than detracted from our friendship
