Boring moving out question

stupidsexyflanders [Edit] [Delete] 16:57, 21 August '12

HIVE MIND. We spent a long time cleaning our flat before we moved out (to what I think was the standard that we received it in), but the landlord/agency are disputing this, and are trying to deduct almost £200 for a professional clean. This means that there was absolutely no point in us doing any cleaning, which doesn’t seem right – at most it seems like we should be credited in some way for cleaning and not charged for the full professional whack.

Is it worth disputing this cleaning charge as we already did loads? Or is that going to be like banging our heads against a brick wall/sticking our collective knob in a blender?
