Ted Hughes

midnightpunk [Edit] [Delete] 15:42, 19 August '12

I'm no great reader but when I get into a book or something I do tend to love it. It's rare to find quality material, y'know; Catcher In The Rye, The Wasp Factory, Divided Kingdom. I read a book at a rate of one a year max. I have just been pointed in the direction of Ted Hughes' poetry and, well, it is astonishingly powerful stuff, so much so that I'm limiting myself to one poem a day (maybe two). So far this is the best I have read of his work. I'm not ashamed to admit that it blew me away...
