The magnificient Clare Balding, one of the finest sports' presenters ever on British TV, is leaving the BBC and joining Channel 4. This is yet more evidence of the abject lack of intelligence at BBC Sport and the fact that they continue to treat sports' fans as idiots. They will not be happy until they fill up the screen with hideous Jake Humpfrey clones mangling the English language and insulting their guests.
