Last night was pretty special.

Still plenty left: among today's highlights there are finals in the volleyball, basketball and handball, the women's pentathlon, wrestling and some mountain biking.

I'll be watching the marathon, followed by the water polo final between Croatia and Italy (preceded by the bronze medal match between Serbia and Montenegro). And then watching the closing ceremony on the big screen in the park. It rumoured to celebrate the best of British music. And Muse.
