Athletes should be allowed to dope as much as they like.

hip_young_gunslinger [Edit] [Delete] 11:54, 31 July '12

The whole point of the Olympics, and pretty much any other sporting event, is for people to push themselves, faster, higher, stronger, and all that bollocks. To this end, athletes engage in ridiculous routines, well beyond the tolerances of the average Joe, putting in insane amounts of training, precisely controlled diets that regulate the exact amount of different nutrients and chemicals they needs, and general bizarre performance enhancers like sleeping in oxygen tents or training at high altitude and withdrawing blood and all that shit. So why not let them take drugs too? They're nothing but a chemical, and their bodies are already loaded with ones that have been sanctioned. If we want them to break records, why should anything be off limits? Yes, some athletes will grow extra heads. Yes, some might explode. But if pioneers didn't take risks on mankind's behalf, we'd never have gone to the moon.
