Music Social More…

the variability of brand foods

Smee [Edit] [Delete] 17:15, 24 July '12

I'm sure some of you complete plebs have stories about fried chicken and burger king, but i wouldn't have the foggiest idea about that.

I buy the Pret-A-Manger tomato and mozzarella croissant pretty regularly and it varies massively. Firstly in freshness, as sometimes it'll have been sitting there under the heater for a while. But also in terms of the proportions of ingredients, and even some have like chunks of almost uncooked tomato in and others have completely smooth tomato sauce!

I'm not averse to the variability in fairness, I just find it surprising for a massive chain with a brand identity that they aren't hot on this kind of shit.
