I am wearing new shoes to work today. They slip a bit on the left and my feet are really hot, and subsequently every time I step my left shoe makes a little squeaking noise, a bit like when you pretend to make a fart noise by putting your hand under your armpit.

I just caught someone looking weirdly at me as I walked through the office and felt slightly embarrassed.

Any similar experiences?
