Has anyone noticed that certainly in the last couple of years it's become massively more socially acceptable to have tattoos? In particular visible ones on show.

When I was a tattoo either meant you were a goth or a hard nut who spent all his time in The Swallow pub bragging about your criminal past.

Now everyone has tattoos, and of varying quality. I saw a girl on the bus last night who just had a squiggle on the base of her neck. No discernible shape. Looked like an infant's attempts at a signature. And I saw a lass this morning who just had Marilyn Monroe tattooed on her leg. Just a picture of her face. And I saw a dude yesterday who had his eyebrows shaved off and had wavy lines tattooed in their place.

Yeah, tattoos. What do you think? Are they more acceptable now? and as they become so, have they gotten shitter? I think yes
