So. I need two references for my new job. One, my current employer, has given a reference fine, but the other isn't responding to my new employer's emails. I'm going to try and contact her later, but regardless of this, she's my current MSc dissertation supervisor and personal tutor... as I've been studying via distance learning so she's not had *that* much contact with me, but she has said she'd be a reference if needed.

I've been in my current job for 5 years and I'm struggling to think of other suitable references, my old undergraduate degree personal tutor has retired, and I don't have any contacts for old jobs as they've moved away or left; plus, they were so long ago I'm not sure they're entirely appropriate.

Any advice, DiS?
