Housemate LOLZ

LOLpop [Edit] [Delete] 15:01, 20 July '12

Just received a very polite e-mail from my housemate. Basically I am on the second floor, and the rest of them are on the floor above me.

My housemate isn’t English, and although her English is very good, sometimes her e-mails (completely understandably) can be a bit hard to get the gist of, occasionally. But I received an e-mail earlier saying that when I get up to use the bathroom at night, can I make sure that I close the door, because they can hear it. When I read this, I naturally thought that she meant, close and not slam. So I replied that I never slam the door – in fact, I don’t even close the door at all! (which I foolishly thought was doing my housemates a good turn, by not making noise)

Then when I read it back again, I realised that that was exactly her point. I don’t close the door.

In my defence, I am on a different floor to them, and our rooms are really far away. I don’t piss thunderously, but I totally didn’t expect her to be able to hear it. Plus its usually the ‘wee’ hours of the morning, so was expecting them to be in R.E.M. by that point.

Yeah, so, gonna close the door from now on, ennit!

What other stuff’s been happening?
