Batman Begins & The Dark Knight - collective wisdom (^this + a comment, please)

NoahVale [Edit] [Delete] 09:13, 19 July '12

To my shame, I've not seen either of the Nolan/Bale Batman films and I'm considering buying the DVDs to watch with my 7-year-old lad.

Question: is he to young for them? I've let him watch all of the Harry Potters, Star Wars and all the prequels, and the Raiders films. He's also seen all of the Toby Maguire Spider-Mans (erm, Spider-Men?) and the new Amazing Spider-Man. None of these have given him nightmares - quite the contrary, he's enjoyed them.

Is the rebooted Batman series a different proposition though? Too adult? Too violent? Too complex even?

What d'ya think?
