Oyster question (Student/16-25 railcard)

This is very boring, but the TFL site is confusing the hell out of me.

I have a 18+ student oyster card, but apparently this is only an advantage if I get a travelcard. I have a 16-25 railcard, so am I right in thinking I can put this onto my oyster card and get the discount?
