Following yesterday's threads asking for 3 favourite films, It was clear that it's almost impossible to narrow it down to 3. So, in the spirit of recent ambitious threads, I propose the following:

> Everyone posts their 10 favourite films - no explanation needed, no critque, just the names will do;
> The thread stays open for (say) 7 - 10 days to allow ample thinking time and to get as many posts as possible;
> When everyone's posted, someone who should have far more important things to do (i.e. me) counts up the responses and produces the DiSers' definitive list of the greatest films ever made.

It's probably been done before (if so - I apologise in advance), and I might be over-reaching myself to such an extent that it all goes terribly wrong in a G4S-type way. But what the Hell.

I'm game if you are. Shall we give it a go?
