hi - monthly post here. everyone probably already knows but it's tomorrow, but whatever.

this month we have metal fencing behind the dj booth because people dance too hard and keep knocking the dj booth over. we also will have spinny disco lights.

Your next Playhouse fix awaits! And we're bringing the party for July with the very best hits and some exciting guest DJs.

You can expect to hear the usual unpretentious mix of chart pop, RnB, hip-hop, indie, synth-pop, UKG and whatever else. Girls Aloud, Pulp, Kanye We...st, Japandroids, Sean Paul, Talking Heads, George Michael, Robyn, Rihanna, Destiny's Child, Beastie Boys... expect the unexpected.

This month's guest DJs are one of our favourite London bands, Cymbals. They know their way around a shimmery chorus - and they've been making their name behind the decks across London over the past year. The perfect soundtrack.

We also welcome DJ Jon Claude to The Waiting Room - we hear his sets might have you in a frenzy.
