bane looks impressive as a villain. i detect a definite revolutionary/terrorist subtext to his character.

batman will probably be even more of a neocon/bush avatar (is that the right word) if the occupy wall street/capitalist reform movements are being worked into the story

catwoman will be in the middle - "i must steal to feed poor people but oh noes i loves batman yet he is a rich boy"

apparently there are over 11,000 extras in the movie, the largest non-cgi cast since the death of the silent film
