Starting a new job and really disliking it

prof-kitsch [Edit] [Delete] 18:04, 28 June '12

started a job 2 weeks after I graduated in an industry I really want to work in (sort of on the periphery of it tbh). However, 3 weeks in, I'm really disliking it and considering finding another. The company is awfully run, and I've been put under massive amounts of pressure really early on/felt like I haven't had the time to learn certain key features of the role properly. They also lied about certain aspects of the job, and exaggerated the role in the interview. ALSO I'm having to do an hour and a half commute out of London every morning and evening to get there.

BUT they appear to have put a lot of faith in me and see me as an investment in the company's future.

idk. is this a thing that happens to people?
